Financial Analyst
The role acts as the main point of contact with the finance teams in EMEA region to gain an understanding of costs recharges as part of downstreaming activity, including actual, forecast and budget.

The candidate is required to have a good commercial outlook to facilitate understanding the drivers behind the numbers and to challenge where necessary. The key contacts for the analyst are the senior finance staff (FD/FC) in each country, as well as EMEA Finance Management. There will also be liaison with the US Corporate finance team.

Responsibilities
- Preparation and processing (postings) of the Central Allocation (downstreaming) and posting accruals/prepayments to cost centres in a timely manner
- Assist the Downstreaming Manager with balance reconciliation related to Allocation cost centres and analysis for budgeting and planning
- Taking ownership running downstreaming process (journals, ISM. PO, Invoices, accrual memo) to improve legacy processes, challenging current procedures, and driving efficiencies
- Business Partnering with Central team
- Communicating, preparing, and recharging intercompany (including ISM) costs across CBRE entities
- Communication of key downstreaming allocations updates to the Finance teams (EMEA wide)
- Assisting with tasks involved in CBRE's largest ERP system migration for internal projects, from Microsoft Dynamics to PeopleSoft.
- Assist in the preparation of SOX requirements and Audit queries

Person Specification
- Working towards an Accountancy Qualification, preferably AAT or equivalent is desirable
- Use of MS Excel to an intermediate/advanced level
- IT skills to lead, process and report developments to achieve key tasks, and to give the business a sound reporting base.
- Good communication skills enabling the individual to work with senior stakeholders, clients, suppliers and staff to all levels and abilities
- Must be detail conscious and methodical in approach
