The Opportunity:
We are working with a well-established, global organisation to recruit a Finance Analyst to join their growing finance team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially minded individual who enjoys working with data, supporting decision-making, and partnering with stakeholders across the business.
You will play a key role in delivering financial analysis, supporting forecasting processes, and contributing to the continuous improvement of financial reporting and controls.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and long-term planning
Provide detailed analysis of financial performance, including costs and revenue trends
Produce variance analysis comparing actuals to budget/forecast
Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and financial models
Assist with monthly management accounts and reporting processes
Prepare journals and support balance sheet reconciliations
Contribute to cash flow forecasting and working capital analysis
Analyse historical data to identify trends and provide insights to stakeholders
Build strong working relationships with both finance and non-finance teams
Support audit processes and respond to internal/external queries
Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies
Provide ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as required
Skills & Requirements:
Experience in a finance analyst or similar role
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent attention to detail and ability to interpret complex data
Confident communicator with the ability to influence stakeholders
Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
Able to work both independently and as part of a team
Commercially aware with a proactive approach to improving processes
Part-qualified or studying towards a professional qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA)
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
