Finance Administrator

Sheffield

£25,977 per annum

Temporary Until 30th March 2027, 37 hours per week

We have an exciting opportunity to work within our Finance team as one of our Finance Administrators.

We are a forward thinking, values driven housing association. This role is agile in nature, working from home for up to 50% of your time, with the remainder based in our Rockingham Street offices in Sheffield

* £25,977 (2D)

* 37 Hours per week

* 27 days annual leave (pro rata), statutory bank holidays and an additional 4 SYHA days.

More about the role:

You will:

* Work as part of a team providing financial transactions service effectively, and in accordance with the Association’s policies and procedures, and in line with service level agreements.

* Ensure that financial records are maintained in relation to the activities of the post, as directed communicate effectively with employees and teams of the Association and of external organisations

* Help and support other team members in providing financial services to the Association.

Who you are:

* Enthusiastic, optimistic, resilient, and flexible

* Able to provide an effective accounts service including processing of incoming and outgoing invoices along with cash book management.

* Communicate well both verbally and in writing with a wide range of people and work effectively in collaboration with a variety of staff

* Demonstrate an understanding of accounting principles and techniques

* Have the ability to solve problems relating to systems and controls quickly and effectively

* Have knowledge of Excel
