Finance Accountant
Location: Farnborough
Type: Contract - 6 Months
Pay rate: £25 per hour Payee
You will play a huge role in turning our finance department around. We are a new team with a new system and we need your help to build our finance operation.
You will ensure that we deliver numbers on time every month and with the highest accuracy.
You will play a key part in ensuring that we get a clean external audit opinion and pass our internal audit with flying colours.
You will get involved in projects that will help us automate our key processes covering the purchase-to-pay process, fixed asset process, inventory process and financial reporting process.
Key Responsibilities:
Execute month-end processes, including payroll, accruals, and prepayments.
Ensure accurate transaction postings and analyse financial statements.
Prepare audit-proof balance sheet reconciliations.
Improve finance processes and automate using Microsoft D365.
Build financial reports and implement robust controls.
Prepare for FY23 and FY24 audits.
Provide AP transactional support as needed.
Qualifications:
Qualified accountant with experience in diverse organisational sizes.
Proven month-end process and financial reporting skills.
Audit background preferred.
Technical proficiency in TB to stats reconciliations.
