Final Inspection Engineer

Role Summary

As a Final Inspection Engineer you will be expected to work both independently and as part of a team of other Engineers. You will have responsibility for maintaining various photomask manufacturing inspection equipment and processes. You will perform preventive and routine maintenance at all levels and address equipment breakdowns of low to high difficulty levels.

Responsibilities

* Technical first point of contact for any downtime events and troubleshooting.

* Perform equipment maintenance as required by the published schedule, working on numerous engineering disciplines, such as optical, electronic, electrical and pneumatic systems.

* Ensure stable tool performance to monitored SPC targets.

* Take ownership of specific continuous improvement activities and projects and ensure completion in a timely manner.

* Maintain appropriate communication within department, site, and company as well as ensuring regular external vendor communication is maintained.

* Develop and maintain standard operating and maintenance procedures and documentation including operator training.

* Maintain and control parts inventory.

* Assist in the installation of new manufacturing tools.

* Participate in the on call rota to provide a complete production support service. This is currently every other week, holiday and absence cover.

* Other duties as required based on business need or upon request of their Manager.

Requirements

* Knowledge of Semiconductor inspection equipment is an advantage.

* Unix and or Linux experience (desirable).

* Good IT skills – word, excel and email.

* Good communications skills – written and verbal.

* A high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

* Good team-player.

* Good organisational skills and an ability to work to deadlines.

* Continuous improvement mindset and an ability to drive projects and actions through to completion.

* A relevant engineering degree/HNC or equivalent, or proven experience.

* Strong collaboration skills, a positive attitude and self-motivation.

Remuneration Package

* Annual Salary – up to £34,000.00

* Working Hours – Days, Monday to Friday 08:00am to 16:30pm

* Annual Holidays – 25 days plus bank holidays

* Call Out Allowance - £110.00 per week on scheduled rota
