We are currently seeking a 2X Field Technician based in the Coventry area, on behalf of our Client; who are a multi-national, traffic contractor.
The Field Technician role will require travel throughout the UK, you must be willing to stay away if required & work on days/nights and weekends.
Full training provided. However, this role will provide you with a lot of downtime, so you will get paid while sitting at home waiting for jobs to attend, so you could go a few days without having a job and still getting paid!
My client is ideally seeking applicants who've worked around live roads/ road spaces. They've shown interest in Fibre/Telcoms Engineers, Meter Readers and Traffic Management Operatives - if you're experienced in one of these, please apply and I will give you a call!
Duties as a Field Technician
Installation of CCTV and ANPR technology
Responsible for the Health and Safety
Work on live highways/roadside
Quality assurance
Oversee site works.
Provide detailed and accurate site paperwork.
Requirements as Field Technician
Interest in Technology
Previous experience working in the field as an engineer or technician (telecoms, meter reading, Traffic management ideally)
Ability to follow technical instructions.
High level of attention to detail and accuracy
Good standard of numeracy and basic IT skills
Must be able to work as part of a team & individually.
Full UK driving license.
