Are you an experienced care professional who loves supporting others, developing teams and making sure great care is actually being delivered in practice?

We're recruiting for a Field Supervisor & Trainer to join a well-established Home Instead office in Barnet.
This is a varied role combining field supervision, quality and Care Professional development. You'll spend time supporting clients and Care Professionals in the community, while also playing an important role in training, coaching and maintaining high standards across the service.

The business also works with an external training provider, so you won't be responsible for delivering all training yourself.

What you'll be doing

You'll be responsible for a mixture of field supervision, client support and Care Professional development, including:

Carrying out client service reviews and support visits in clients' homes
Observing care delivery and ensuring it remains in line with care plans and quality standards
Completing competency assessments and observational assessments
Creating, reviewing and auditing care plans and risk assessments
Supporting medication competency, including eMAR
Delivering relevant training workshops and refresher training
Identifying development needs and providing coaching and mentoring to Care Professionals
Supporting Care Professional and client introductions
Building positive relationships with clients, families and the wider care team
Supporting audits, quality improvement and inspection readiness
Maintaining accurate records across the relevant care management systems
Participating in on-call duties when required What we're looking for

We're looking for someone with at least two years' experience within the care sector who is confident working with both clients and care teams.

You'll need:

A full UK driving licence and your own transport
At least 2 years' experience within care
Level 3 NVQ in Health & Social Care or equivalent - preferred
Experience with medication and MAR/eMAR in a supervisory capacity
A good understanding of health and social care regulations and compliance
Confidence using care management technology and IT systems
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
The ability to coach, support and develop Care Professionals
A flexible and organised approach Most importantly, we're looking for someone ambitious, proactive and genuinely passionate about quality care. Someone who enjoys taking responsibility, can build great relationships and wants to make a real impact within a growing care business.
