Field Service Technician - Various locations - 6 Month rolling contract
Our client is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Field Services Technician to work within their technical services team. As a Field Services Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful implementation, maintenance, and support of our technical solutions. You will be responsible for the output of the wider the team's activities, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and providing technical expertise to drive excellence.

Key Accountabilities
• Work within a team of technical professionals, providing guidance, technical assistance, and working to support the team's continuous growth and development.
• Oversee the end-to-end implementation of technical solutions, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and meeting client requirements.
• Act as the first point of contact for complex technical issues, providing hands-on assistance and expertise to troubleshoot and resolve problems.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships by providing exceptional technical guidance, support, and communication.
• Collaborate with product development teams to provide insights from client interactions, contributing to the enhancement of existing solutions and the development of new ones.

Duties and Requirements
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline, with a focus on electrical being preferred
• Holds, or can achieve, a valid ECS Gold Card (Installation Electrician or Maintenance Electrician) or the ECS HERS (Highway Electrical Registration Scheme) Card
• Strong technical knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience in equipment installation, maintenance, or repair is preferred.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, software, and equipment manuals.
• The use of calibration equipment and working with radioactive sources would be a benefit
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience in working with radiation detectors
• Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed
