South England (Field Based)

Are you a Field Service Engineer with an electrical or electro-mechanical background, looking to join a global leader in high security technology where you'll receive manufacturer training and have the opportunity to travel internationally?

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a specialist engineering business delivering advanced security solutions to airports, seaports, government facilities, and critical infrastructure across the UK and overseas. The company offers excellent job security, ongoing investment in its engineers, and clear progression into senior technical and international roles.

In this role, you'll install, service, maintain, and repair a range of sophisticated security systems including X-ray scanners, metal detectors, body scanners, access control, and CCTV systems. You'll travel nationwide to customer sites and receive ongoing comprehensive manufacturer training.

The ideal candidate will have a background in field service, maintenance, or installation engineering with strong electrical or electronic fault-finding skills, looking to develop their skills and progress their career.

The Role:

Service, maintain, install, and repair advanced security screening equipment
Fault find on X-ray systems, metal detectors, body scanners, CCTV, and access control
Travel nationwide to customer sites with occasional overnight stays
Participate in a 1-in-4 on-call rota with excellent overtime opportunities
Receive ongoing manufacturer training with opportunities for international travel

The Person:

Field Service Engineer or Maintenance Engineer background
Electrical, electro-mechanical, or IT hardware experience
Happy with UK-wide travel and on-call work
Full UK driving licence
