Field Service Engineer (Switchgear) - Liverpool
£30,000 - £55,000 DOE + Vehicle & Fuel card
Our client are currently on the lookout for Field Service Engineers based in Liverpool. The comapny is a well established and globally recognised organisation delivering specialist switchgear products and services.
Responsibilities include (But not limited to):
Fielding enquiries from existing customers relating to technical support, advice and future service offerings
Generating quotations for service related work
Safely perform all necessary service realated tasks at the head office and customer premises, including switchgear service & maintenance, switchgear upgrades & life extension projects, protection relay testing and upgrades, switchgear breadown investiagation & repairs.
Undetaking pre-mobilisation duties, including project specific risk assessments, method statements etc
As and when necessary, participating in out of hours call out service.Education & Background:
Ideally the succesful candidate will be a time served apprentice in an Electrical Engineering background
Educated to a minimum of ONC level in Electrical engineering or equivalent
Familiar with producing technical reports
Experience in the fundamentals of electrical switchgear, it's operation, maintenance and fault finding. In return our client will offer:
