Field Service Engineer – North West
Location: North West
Salary: £26,000 - £36,000 per annum + Benefits
An established engineering business is looking to recruit a Field Service Engineer to support customers across the North West. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer with strong mechanical and electrical skills to join a growing service team.
You will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, fault-finding and repairing a range of industrial equipment at customer sites, ensuring excellent levels of customer service while working independently throughout your designated region.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive breakdown repairs.
Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults.
Install, commission and test industrial equipment.
Complete service reports and relevant documentation.
Build strong relationships with customers through professional service delivery.
Manage your own workload and travel efficiently across the North West.
About You
You'll ideally have experience as a Field Service Engineer or Service Engineer with a strong electromechanical background.
Experience from any of the following industries would be welcomed:
Industrial weighing equipment
Materials handling
Manufacturing machinery
Industrial automation
Packaging machinery
Food processing equipment
General electromechanical field service
Essential Requirements
Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills.
Previous field service or maintenance engineering experience.
Ability to work independently.
Excellent customer-facing communication skills.
Full UK driving licence.
Previous experience within the industrial weighing sector would be advantageous but is not essential, as candidates with transferable engineering experience are encouraged to apply.
Salary: £26,000 - £36,000 per annum, depending on experience.
