The Role – Field Service Engineer, NMR Scientific Instrumentation

This market leader seeks to recruit a technically motivated and customer focused Field Service Engineer, responsible for the service, installation, repair and general maintenance of their range of highly advanced scientific systems at customer sites.

Your Background – Field Service Engineer, NMR Scientific Instrumentation

To succeed in this exciting role you must be able to demonstrate:

Previous experience as a laboratory technician or scientist with a chemistry or physics background with experience of using Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy (NMR)
Or qualified to PhD level with expertise using NMR systems
Or as a Field Service Engineer working on a range of electronics or electro-mechanical systems
Ex-forces engineers with experience of repairing radar, weapons guidance or military electronics are encouraged to apply
Full UK driving licence
Ability to communicate effectively at all levels with external customers and internal departments
