Salary: £36,000 - £45,000 Basic Salary | OTE £45,000+
Hours: Monday-Friday, 08:00-17:00
Benefits: Paid Door-to-Door Travel + Overtime at 1.5x Rate

The Role

As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing a range of forklift trucks and material handling equipment across customer sites throughout your area.

Key responsibilities include:

Diagnosing mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults
Servicing and maintaining forklift trucks and associated equipment
Attending breakdowns and carrying out emergency repairs
Completing service and repair documentation accurately
Building strong relationships with customers and providing excellent service
Working independently while maintaining communication with the wider engineering team
Repairing and maintaining engines, batteries, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard
What We're Looking For

Previous experience working within the Forklift, Plant or Material Handling industries
Strong mechanical, hydraulic and electrical fault-finding skills
Experience working with engines, batteries and mobile plant equipment
Ability to work independently in a field-based environment
Engineering qualifications such as NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent are advantageous
Full UK Driving Licence
