If so, my client is on the search for their newest Field Service Engineer to join their Service team where you will cover Aberdeen and surrounding areas. This opportunity would suit an engineer from any of the following backgrounds;

Job Summary of Service Engineer:

Reporting to the Service Manager you will be expected to be in control of the maintenance, service and repairs of material handling equipment on various customer sites. The candidate will be working with an assortment of equipment including diesel, gas and electric trucks. You will be expected to manage own work in progress, ensure all relevant paperwork is completed accurately, attend regular training courses to maintain up-to-date knowledge of equipment and be an active team player sustaining the company's prestigious reputation. You will be working with everything from small pallet trucks, through to IC trucks, VNA trucks and automated trucks, you will be required to find, diagnose, and rectify faults, and undertake preventative maintenance on forklifts and other material handling equipment at their customer sites.

Requirements of the Service Engineer:

NVQ Level 2/3 qualified in Plant, Vehicle Maintenance or similar
Preferably served a full apprenticeship
Experienced Service Engineer, Plant Fitter, FLT Engineer, Vehicle Technician, HGV Technician or Ex forces will all be considered for this opportunity
Technical experience in Engines, Electrics (Diagnostics) and Hydraulics is required. This includes all engine types.
IT Literate and be comfortable with using the latest technologySalary and Benefits for the Service Engineer:

Attractive starting salary package circa to £36k with OTE £40k+ minimum
Overtime paid at time and a half over a 40 hour week
Working Hours 8am to 4.30pm Mon to Thurs, 8am to 4pm on Fridays
