Do you have a background in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering? Are you looking for a field service role with an established engineering company offering four weeks of specialist training followed by hands-on shadowing, a company car, door-to-door pay, and regular overtime at enhanced rates to boost your income?
On offer is the opportunity to join a well-established engineering business specialising in the manufacture, installation, and maintenance of automated security equipment, including electric gates, barriers, bollards, road blockers, and turnstiles. The company supplies specialist security solutions to customers across the UK and internationally and is looking to expand its service engineering team.
In this role, you will travel directly from home to customer sites, carrying out installations, breakdown repairs, servicing, and fault finding on a range of equipment. You will initially receive four weeks of in-house training, followed by shadowing experienced engineers to develop your knowledge of the company's specialist machinery and systems.
This role would suit a Field Service Engineer or similar with an electrical and mechanical background, looking for a varied field-based role offering specialist training, door-to-door pay, a company car and fuel card, and regular overtime opportunities to increase earnings.
The Role:
Installing, servicing, fault finding, and repairing automated gates, barriers, and specialist security equipment
Four weeks of in-house training followed by shadowing on specialist machinery and control panels
Home-based field service role, 40 hours per week, door-to-door pay and enhanced overtimeThe Person:
Background in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering, Maintenance, or similar
Experience with electrical and mechanical fault finding
Based in Essex, with a full UK driving licence
