Field Service Engineer – Birmingham / Walsall

Location: Birmingham / Walsall Region

Salary: £26,000-£36,000 per annum + Benefits

We are recruiting for a Field Service Engineer to cover customers across the Birmingham and Walsall region on behalf of a well-established engineering business experiencing continued growth.

This role is suited to an engineer with strong mechanical and electrical experience who enjoys fault-finding, problem-solving and delivering excellent customer service while working at customer sites.

The Role

Service, maintain and repair industrial equipment.

Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults.

Carry out planned preventative maintenance and emergency breakdown support.

Install and commission equipment where required.

Complete service documentation accurately.

Represent the business professionally while building strong customer relationships.

General electromechanical engineering

Essential Skills

Mechanical and electrical engineering experience.

Strong fault-finding and diagnostic ability.

Previous experience in a field service or maintenance engineering role.

Confident working independently and managing your own schedule.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Full UK driving licence.

Experience within the industrial weighing industry would be beneficial but is not essential. Candidates with transferable electromechanical engineering experience are encouraged to apply.

Salary: £26,000-£36,000 per annum, depending on experience.
