Field Service Engineer – Catering Equipment
Location: North of London, covering London and surrounding areas
Salary: £30,000 – £33,000 per annum + overtime opportunities + company benefits
We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated Field Service Engineer to join our growing team within the commercial catering industry.
This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer based north of London who is happy to travel throughout London and the surrounding areas. This is a field-based role, spending the majority of your time on the road visiting customer sites to carry out service, maintenance and repair work on a range of commercial catering equipment.
Key Responsibilities:

Service, diagnose and repair commercial catering equipment at customer sites.

Carry out planned preventative maintenance visits.
*
Respond promptly to breakdown call-outs and provide effective solutions.
*
Maintain accurate service records and complete all required documentation.
*
Deliver a high standard of customer service and build strong relationships with clients.
*
Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with company procedures.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
*
Previous experience working as a Field Service Engineer, ideally within the catering equipment industry.
*
Engineers with a background in white goods repair and servicing are also encouraged to apply, as transferable fault-finding and customer service skills will be highly valued.
*
Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding abilities.
*
Relevant qualifications in engineering, electrical, refrigeration, or catering equipment maintenance would be advantageous.
*
A full UK driving licence.
*
Excellent communication skills and a professional approach when dealing with customers.
*
The flexibility and willingness to travel across London and the surrounding areas as required.
