Job Role - Field Service Engineer - Vertical Access Solutions

Location - Nationwide & International Travel , HO in Rushden

Salary - Min £36,500 - £37,500 + Allowances OTE £40k - £60k

The Role

We are recruiting Multi‑Skilled Field Service Engineers to install, maintain and support vertical access equipment across industrial, construction and offshore environments. This is a hands‑on, high‑travel role suited to someone who enjoys autonomy, variety and representing a company on sites across the UK and worldwide. You'll work on high‑rise buildings, oil rigs, and large industrial sites.

Important Requirement

Candidates are required to hold a passport that allows international travel. Regular destinations will include Africa, Asia, South America and Europe both onshore and off shore.

Key Responsibilities

Install, maintain and repair vertical access equipment both onshore and offshore
Fault‑find and troubleshoot mechanical and 3‑phase systems
Test, inspection, commissioning & LOLER Thorough Examinations
Work at height on high‑rise buildings and offshore/oil rig environments
Provide technical support and customer interaction
Work remotely with 70% of time spent away from home
Maintain regular communication with office staff and line management
Manual handling of 120kg mast sections (team lifts/equipment provided)

What we are looking

To be considered for this role we are looking for experienced field service engineers who have the following

NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
Are able to work away 70% of the time and is happy to travel nationally and overseas
Experienced with 3-phase machinery
Comfortable working at heights and offshore (working at 600 mtrs up or down)
Experience with large machinery - beneficial
Have worked with Conveyor systems or robotics, or mechanical and industrial machinery
Have worked in construction or engineering environments

£36,500 - £37,500 base salary + allowances
