Description:
Fortis are working with an established company to recruit a field service engineer (electro-mechanical) to join their team. You will be looking after a region covering Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Hertfordshire, candidates located in any of these areas would be suitable.
The field service engineer will be installing, maintaining and servicing special purpose machinery, we are looking for candidates that have previously worked with printers, photocopiers, X-ray machines or similar types of machinery. The position comes with everything you need to do the role including car, laptop, phone and tools. You will also have comprehensive training on the products to make you an expert in that particular field.
Requirements / Responsibilities
* Field service experience on electro-mechanical products
* Having worked on photocopiers and / or printers would be beneficial
* Great communication skills and the ability to build relationships
* Fault finding skills
Due to the nature of some clients you will need to be able to gain low level security clearance, you will also need great communication skills.
