Field Service Engineer
Saltash
Up to £42,000 + Additional Benefits
Our client is a specialist manufacturer of high-performance machinery, and they are seeking a Field Service Engineer to join their existing team. As a Field Service Engineer, you will travel to sites, liaise with clients, provide technical support, install and service advanced manufacturing machinery.
Field Service Engineer Responsibilities;
- Travel to new and existing customer sites across the UK and worldwide
- Liaise with customers and provide technical support when required
- Install and commission machinery on site
- Service, test and calibrate the machinery
- Ensure that all products meet all quality and compliance standards
- Complete all service and customer documentation accurately
Field Service Engineer Requirements;
- Engineering degree, HND, HNC, apprenticeship or equivalent experience
- Experienced in a field service, commissioning, support, maintenance or similar engineering role
- Strong mechanical and/or electrical engineering knowledge
- Ability to read technical drawings
- Experience with control systems, sensors, pumps, pneumatics, electrical fault-finding or industrial machinery
- Experience fault-finding and solving technical problems independently
- Ability to communicate technical information clearly and confidently
- Customer-focused mindset with excellent relationship-building skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Valid passport and willingness to travel internationally
