Field Service Engineer – Coffee Equipment | London & South East

Our client is looking for an experienced Field Service Engineer to join their growing service team, supporting customers across London and the South East. This is an excellent opportunity to work for a well-established business supplying and maintaining commercial coffee equipment for a wide range of customers, including cafés, restaurants, hotels, offices and hospitality venues.

The Role

As a Field Service Engineer, you'll be responsible for the installation, servicing, maintenance and repair of commercial coffee machines at customer sites throughout London and the South East. You'll provide a professional, customer-focused service while ensuring equipment is operating safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

* Service, maintain and repair commercial coffee machines.

* Install new coffee equipment at customer premises.

* Diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical and hydraulic faults.

* Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) visits.

* Respond to reactive breakdown calls within agreed service levels.

* Complete service reports and relevant documentation using a handheld device.

* Maintain van stock and company equipment.

* Build strong relationships with customers and provide excellent technical support.

* Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with company procedures.

Essential Requirements

* Previous experience as a Field Service Engineer, Coffee Engineer or Service Technician.

* Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills.

* Experience working with commercial coffee machines is highly desirable.

* Excellent customer service and communication skills.

* Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule.

* Full UK Driving Licence.

Desirable Experience

* Experience servicing bean-to-cup, traditional espresso or filter coffee machines.

* Background within catering equipment, vending, white goods, beverage systems or electro-mechanical engineering.

* Plumbing or water filtration experience.

* Electrical qualifications would be advantageous but are not essential.
