Field Service Engineer

Our customer is looking for an Field Service Engineer to join their growing team on a full time basis. My client are a growing business who specialise in hiring, selling and servicing agricultural equipment from tractors through to Combine Harvesters. They are looking for someone to work field and site based covering the local area around Dorset. If you have any experience in servicing, replacing and repairing diesel engines and hydraulics on agricultural/JCB equipment, please get in touch.
As an Agricultural Engineer, you will:
* Be responsible for diagnosing, repairing and maintaining various types of agricultural machinery.
* Need to keep accurate records.
* Demonstrate and install machinery where needed.
* Need to work with service and workshop managers and ensure challenging timelines are met.
* Travel to customers in the surrounding area of your depot to service and repair machinery. (Must have a full driving licence)
The ideal candidate will be:
* Have experience in working on agricultural equipment or similar machinery.
* Willing to undergo any additional training and specific manufacturer training to further develop and update your skillset.
* Experienced in working with JCB machinery or other agricultural machinery and willing to work overtime in peak farming and agricultural seasons.
* Able to problem solve and work under pressure in sometimes challenging conditions and deadlines.
