We’re on the lookout for a Field Service Engineer to join a leading manufacturer of sustainable equipment at their new state-of-the-art facility in Heywood.
This role involves providing comprehensive service maintenance, repair, commissioning, and validation services for a wide range of equipment across a variety of key sectors.
What’s on offer?
* £36,000 - £39,500 per year
* Monday – Friday 8:00am – 4:00pm
* 24 days holiday (plus bank holidays)
* Overtime available (paid at enhanced)

What will you be doing as a Field Service Engineer?
* Servicing, maintaining, repairing, commissioning, and validating various company manufactured equipment
* Scheduling and coordinating work to meet deadlines and ensure optimal equipment performance
* Developing and implementing test procedures, investigating and diagnosing issues, and performing necessary repairs
* Collaborating with installation and project engineers to troubleshoot and resolve client-site problems
* Completing site visit documentation and maintaining positive relationships with teams and customers
* Contributing to the development and implementation of field service best practices
What do you need?
* Proven engineering expertise (preferably with BTECH/ONC qualification in an engineering discipline)
* Prior field service experience in a relevant technical field
* Flexibility to travel and accommodate occasional customer visits outside regular hours (enhanced overtime rate)
* Experience with ISO 9001 Quality systems, GMP conditions, PLC-based control systems, and validation procedures
