Field Service Engineer
FMCG Packaging Machinery
Looking out of the factory walls and in to a field service role? This is a great opportunity that would suit a Maintenance Engineer from a Food/ FMCG production background to gain more broad experience across a range of food settings and a wide variety of machines
Our client are a leading supplier of packaging machinery serving the food production sector across Ireland. We are recruiting a Field Service Engineer to join their team carrying out installations of new machinery and also servicing/ maintenance of equipment across customer sites.
We are looking for good multi-skilled experience of similar equipment in food production, with strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
Standard hours are Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.30pm, on top of a competitive salary approx £40k you will also get the Van home with fuel card.
The Role
New equipment installations across a range of food production settings
Aftercare servicing and maintenance on equipment
Carry out upgrades and refurbishment of machinery
Electrical and mechanical repairs/ fault finding
Work with customers and engineering teams professionally providing a great service
Engineering project work
Keep paper and electronic records updated
What we are looking for
Level 3 apprenticeship qualified in Electrical or Engineering
Maintenance and install experience on production machinery
Strong technical knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems
Good communication skills and can work well with different customers
Some flexibility to meet deadlines and get the job done
