Description:
Extrastaff are currently recruiting for a Field Service Engineer for a well-established run company based in Corby. This is a great opportunity for someone to progress within a busy environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
* Install and Maintain Equipment: Travel to customer sites to install and maintain the full range of products.
* Support for Duravant Group Products: Travel to customer sites to maintain other products within the Duravant Group as needed.
* Customer Training: Train customers on the proper use of equipment.
* Technician Training: Train customer technicians on the service and maintenance of the equipment.
* Safety Compliance: Conduct all tasks safely, adhering to Safe Systems of Work and Risk Assessments.
* Reporting: Complete detailed site work reports during and upon completion of tasks.
* Standards Compliance: Ensure adherence to all relevant standards.
* Expense Reporting: Complete expense reports in accordance with company procedures.
* Time Management: Maintain accurate records of time worked, including travel time.

Qualifications/Education and Person Specification
Experience of working in a Field Service role
Experience of mechanical and electrical maintenance and installation
Ability to travel both nationally and internationally
Excellent communication skills and at all levels
Adhere to the company appearance code as per the Employee Handbook
Open to learning new skills and able to ask for help
Full driving licence
A good command of English both written and verbal
Good level of mechanical fitting skills
Good level of electrical engineering skills
Basic level of controls systems and PLC’s
Basic level of welding skill
Apprenticeship in Engineering
Training in site safety
Forklift licence
MEWP Licence
Benefits
You will receive £35 for an overnight stay and £100 per day for any weekend work.
The benefits are 25 days per annum plus 8 public holidays, private medical for self, health cash plan
