Field Service Engineer
Manchester, Stafford & Stoke | Salary Dependent on Experience | 9 am - 5 pm | Monday to Friday | Permanent
Introduction
Acorn by Synergie is searching for a Field Service Engineer to cover the Manchester, Stafford and Stoke area for our client, a leading supplier of machinery to the printing industry.
The purpose of the role is to provide first-line support to customers using advanced printing equipment, ensuring service levels are met and helping customers achieve the best printing quality.
Key Duties
Carry out interventions, scheduled and preventative maintenance at customer sites to ensure machine efficiency.
Provide telephone support on machinery, finishing equipment, and workflow.
Conduct site surveys in preparation for machine installations.
Install machines and ensure full acceptance of production lines with support from the HQ installation team.
Requirements
Previous field service experience, ideally in electronics, electrical, or printing and graphics.
Practical knowledge of IT hardware and software.
Flexible, proactive, and team-oriented with a structured approach to work.
