Field Service Technician
£30,000 - £35,000

An excellent opportunity to join a well-established and growing engineering business, providing installation, maintenance and technical support services to customers across a range of sectors. This hands-on role offers the chance to work on customer sites throughout the UK, solving technical challenges and delivering a high standard of service.

Roles & Responsibilities:
Carry out site visits, surveys, installations and remedial works at customer locations.
Diagnose technical issues and implement effective solutions to minimise downtime.
Follow method statements, complete risk assessments and ensure compliance with site health & safety requirements.
Produce accurate site reports and ensure customer sign-off is obtained upon completion of work.
Identify additional work opportunities and obtain the necessary authorisation before proceeding.
Assist with customer complaint investigations and support the implementation of corrective actions.
Maintain tools, equipment, vehicles and consumable stock to ensure operational readiness.
Support production, product testing and general business maintenance activities when required.
Liaise professionally with customers, contractors and internal departments to ensure successful project delivery.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
Previous experience within installation, maintenance, field service or a similar technical role.
Strong practical and hands-on engineering skills.
Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
Competent IT skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and digital reporting systems.
Relevant technical, engineering or carpentry qualification such as NVQ, HNC or equivalent desirable.
Candidates with 3-5 years' relevant practical experience will also be considered.
Full UK Driving Licence essential.
Valid Passport required and willingness to travel.
