Role Overview

Our client, one of the world’s largest credit card providers, partners with Service Innovation Group to fulfil a key field marketing function within their wider merchant engagement program. The client activity is primarily focused on increasing their engagement points across a wide range of businesses across 12 European markets through field visits, with circa 500 staff working across Europe.

As our Field Sales Manager (FSM), you'll be the driving force behind a team of up to 10 Field Sales Executives (FSE’s) in a fast-paced and dynamic sales environment and will be responsible for the effective management, planning and execution of all projects for our largest client.

The FSM will work closely with the Client Services Team, with a focus on operational delivery, providing our FSE’s with all the necessary tools, guidance and support to ensure that they can activate plans at the point of purchase.

The role is Field based with regular travel to meet with Field Sales Executives, occasional overnight stays and meetings with our Client in London / Watford

Responsibilities

- Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of up to 10 Field Sales Executives.

- The management and performance of the Sales Team.

- Recruitment, training and performance of the FSE’s

- Ongoing coaching and development to foster a culture of continuous improvement and skill enhancement.

- Ensure adherence to a defined sales process, refining and optimizing strategies for increased efficiency and success.

- Take ownership of Team KPI’s, implementing strategies to ensure consistent achievement.

- Implement and maintain robust performance metrics to track individual and team progress, regularly reporting on key performance indicators.

- Facilitate training sessions and onboarding programs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

- Drive the adoption of best practices, leveraging your experience to cultivate a high-performance culture.

- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of campaigns and exceptional client satisfaction.

Experience & Skills

- Field Team Management – Proven track record of coaching and developing sales teams.

- Recruitment, Training, Performance Management.

- Excellent negotiation and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate concepts to audiences.

- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve KPI’s.

- An ability to manage multiple objectives across different projects at the same time.

- Excellent communication and outstanding organisational skills.

- Competent in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Databases)

- Able to manage your own time effectively and be a self-starter.

- Ability to prioritise work effectively to meet different business requirements.

- Works well in a team and provides support to others.

- Strong communication, negotiation, influencing and planning skills.

- Proven record of demonstrating initiative & delivering results

Full UK Drivers Licence.
