Loom Talent are proud to have been exclusively appointed to lead the hiring strategy for a new South Field Sales Executive on behalf of an FMCG / Logistics Business, with an ever expanding presence in the UK and Europe.

Our client are a well-established and growing B2B logistics, and sustainable supply chain solutions business, part of a wider Group, a leading European provider of load carriers and logistics solutions.

With a strong reputation for quality, reliability, customer service and sustainability, they help businesses improve their efficiency and sustainability of their supply chains while keeping materials in circulation for longer.

As the business continues to grow its presence across the South of England, they are now looking to appoint an ambitious Field Sales Executive to play a key role in their continued commercial growth.

The Opportunity

Are you a driven B2B sales professional who prefers being out in the market, meeting customers and winning business rather than sitting behind a desk?

This is a hands-on, customer-facing role where you'll become a key commercial representative across the South.

You'll be responsible for identifying new opportunities, opening doors with prospective customers, developing existing relationships and helping businesses find smarter, more sustainable logistics solutions.

You'll work directly with decision makers across manufacturing, logistics, warehousing, distribution, packaging, retail and industrial sectors, building relationships that translate into long-term, profitable partnerships.

The Role

As the Field Sales Executive, you will take ownership of business development and customer growth across the South of England.

This is a genuine new-business and account-development role. You'll identify and win new customers, build relationships with key decision makers and develop existing accounts to maximise long-term commercial opportunities.

You will be responsible for developing a strong regional pipeline, getting out in front of customers and understanding their operational challenges before presenting solutions that deliver genuine value.

What You'll Be Doing

New Business Development

Identify and target prospective customers across the South of England.
Generate new business through outbound calling, networking, referrals, email campaigns, LinkedIn and face-to-face customer visits.
Arrange and attend regular customer meetings and site visits.
Develop and manage a healthy sales pipeline using the company CRM.
Understand customer requirements and develop tailored proposals and quotations.
Convert opportunities into profitable new customer relationships.

Account Management & Growth

Manage and develop a portfolio of existing customer accounts.
Build strong, long-term relationships with key decision makers.
Conduct regular customer reviews to understand changing requirements.
Identify opportunities to increase share of wallet through additional products and services.
Work closely with customers to develop long-term, mutually beneficial partnerships.

Market Development

Increase awareness of products and services throughout the region.
Identify emerging market trends, competitor activity and new commercial opportunities.
Develop new opportunities that support the continued growth of the business.
Play an important role in supporting the strategic growth of the Newhaven site.

Working as One Team

Collaborate closely with Operations, Procurement and Customer Service to deliver an excellent customer experience.
Support accurate sales forecasting and future demand planning.
Maintain accurate CRM records and sales activity.
Provide regular reporting on pipeline development, customer activity and commercial performance.I am looking for a proactive, resilient and commercially candidate who is comfortable creating opportunities rather than waiting for them to arrive.

The ideal candidate:

Proven experience in a B2B business development or sales role.
A strong track record of winning new business.
Experience managing and growing customer accounts.
Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
Confidence dealing with decision makers at Procurement, Operations, Supply Chain and senior management level.
A consultative approach to selling, with the ability to understand customer needs and develop appropriate solutions.
Strong organisation and pipeline management skills.
Experience using a CRM system.
The drive and flexibility to travel regularly across the South of England.
