Are you ready to lead a dynamic team in a ground-breaking smart metering program? Thames Water is seeking a experienced Field Operations Manager (Metering) to oversee a team of Continuous Improvement Field Technicians.

What you’ll be doing as a Field Operations Manager (Metering)
You'll play a pivotal role in auditing and enhancing the performance of our Service Provider’s field teams, ensuring top-notch quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Audit and Compliance: Conduct thorough audits to ensure adherence to contract provisions and safety regulations. Promptly address and resolve any defects.
Continuous Improvement: Spearhead initiatives to boost customer service, reduce costs, and enhance overall performance.
Project Support: Collaborate with various departments on innovative projects and initiatives.
Customer Service: Manage escalations, resolve complaints swiftly, and maintain high customer satisfaction levels.
Safety and Quality: Champion a safety-first culture, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards, and promoting continuous improvement.Base Location: Hybrid /Langley, SL3 6EY
Working Pattern: Full time - Monday to Friday - 36 hours

What you should bring to the role

Qualifications: NRSWA Supervisor Qualification, NEBOSH or IOSH certification.
Team Management: Proven experience in managing a team effectively.
Reporting: Proficient in generating reports, identifying issues, and resolving them efficiently.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail in all tasks.
IT Proficiency: Fully competent in using Company IT systems, work management systems, and office software.
Influence and Negotiation: Strong communication and negotiation skills to influence stakeholders.
Customer Interaction: Ability to converse with customers and manage customer-related issues as required.
Full UK Driving License Desirable:

Knowledge of the water industry and advancements in smart metering technology.
Experience in field operations management, meter installation, and meter reading.What’s in it for you?

Competitive salary up to £55,000 per annum dependent on level of experience
