Role Overview:
The Regional Operations Manager supports the delivery of the service targets and goals by taking responsibility for Regional Service Operations activity. The Regional Operations Manager will work within the Service Operations Team to deliver company KPI’s, customer SLA’s and performance delivery.
Reports to: Service Operations Director
Direct Reports: 20 x Field Service Engineers
Key Responibilties:
* Provide technical support to Engineers, Sales Team and Operations Team as required.
* Promote and monitor/report on-site environmental, health and safety compliance.
* Measure and maintain service quality standards via regular engineer accompaniments.
* Develop engineering skills.
* Develop engineer commercial skills.
* Source and assist with approval of sub-contract workforce.
* Work as part of a team, working to customer timescales and deadlines.
Knowledge / Skills / Experience Required:
* Self-starter and ability to organize own time effectively.
* Be highly customer-focused and a team player.
* Highly numerate and articulate with good verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail.
* Strong field management skills and experience.
* Ability to take the initiative and KPI driven, with experience of working to weekly/monthly/yearly individual and team targets.
* Ability to work under pressure and to tight timescales.
Competencies / Capabilities:
* Technical knowledge and experience of automation products, automatic doors ideally.
* Installation experience of automation products
* PC literate and proficient in the use of MS Office – Essential.
* Full UK Manual Driving License – Essential.
* Overnight travel as required to undertake the required tasks in the role.
