Field Network Engineer
Salary: £30,000 - £40,000
Location: Hybrid (Regular Travel around Berkshire, Slough, Hampshire & Corsham)

About the Role: We are currently seeking a talented Field Based Network Engineer to join our clients dynamic team. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with clients and travel to various sites. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing support and working on exciting projects in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
Monitor network performance and address any anomalies or alarms.
Routing and switching Networks.
Providing some 2nd / 3rd Line support for projects.
Provide remote support and onsite project assistance.
Configure and maintain network environments across multiple vendors.
Collaborate with network architecture teams on security and design.
Assist in the implementation of new equipment and systems.
Adhere to network policies and procedures, including change control processes.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
Cisco CCNA/CCNP certification or similar
Experience with network security and design
Proficiency in Cisco, HP, Fortinet, and Palo Alto technologies
Knowledge of LAN, WLAN, MPLS, WAN, FW/VPN, and network security
Experience with a range of L2 switching platforms (such as Cisco Nexus, HP Procurve)
Working knowledge of layer 2 protocols (OSPF, VRF).
Experience of working in data centre environment
Previous experience with network monitoring platforms
Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
Requirements:
Ability to pass a background check to BPSS Standard
Full driving license
