????????Role: Fibre Engineer
????£250 - £300 per day outside IR35
????Contract Length: 9 Months
????Location: Channel Islands (Guernsey)
????Working Pattern: Guaranteed 5 days per week
????Overtime: Available
???? What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll be responsible for a range of practical engineering tasks across residential and commercial properties, including:
????Installing, testing, and commissioning fibre broadband services
????Setting up wiring systems, WiFi routers, and customer terminals
��Identifying and delivering property-specific installation solutions
????Working collaboratively with your team to ensure high‑quality service across the island
????Every property is different—so no two days are the same. You’ll use your technical know‑how and problem‑solving skills to deliver smart, efficient solutions in a unique island environment.
????What We’re Looking For
????Previous experience in fibre engineering
????Strong troubleshooting skills
????Excellent communication and customer‑facing approach
????Must hold a valid British passport
????Must be willing to undergo a DBS check
