Lodestone Recruitment are looking for an experienced Finishing Operative or Fettler for our client in the Sheffield area. Due to continued growth, this is a fantastic opportunity for join a forward-thinking company.
What We Are Looking For
Our client is interested in candidates who have the following:
Ideally have experience of fine finishing, fettling and grinding castings.
Experience of using hand tools such as pencil grinders, burrs, abrasive belts or have previously done Mount Point work.
Experience in working with castings and removing defects.
Experience of working with small hand tools and pencil grinders.
Checking dimensions of components and using measuring equipment such as micrometers, verniers, calipers or depth gauges.
Working to tight tolerances.
