At Avenues, we're more than a workplace – we're a community where people smile, laugh, grow and achieve great things together. We believe that when our colleagues feel valued and supported, the people we support thrive too.

About the role

You'll be supporting five individuals with complex health needs, physical disabilities and learning disabilities in our supported living service in Gillingham, Medway. The service is conveniently located close to both Chatham and Gillingham town centres and is just a five-minute walk from Hempstead Valley Shopping Centre.

The people we support enjoy active, fulfilling lives and love getting out into the local community every day. Whether it's shopping, attending activities, visiting local attractions or spending time with friends and family, you'll play an important role in helping them enjoy the life they choose.

Every day is different, but you could be:

Supporting people with learning disabilities, autism, epilepsy and physical disabilities.

Encouraging independence while providing the right level of support.

Assisting with daily living tasks such as cooking, shopping and managing money.

Supporting people to access their local community and enjoy hobbies and interests.

Providing personal care with dignity, respect and compassion.

Working as part of a friendly, supportive team to deliver outstanding person-centred care.

You'll receive paid training from day one, along with nationally recognised qualifications to help you build a rewarding long-term career.

All we ask is that you bring:

A positive attitude.

Kindness and compassion.

A willingness to learn.

A full UK driving licence.
