This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive and welcoming school where you will play a key role in delivering high-quality PE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.

The Role

Deliver engaging and inclusive PE lessons to secondary-aged students.
Teach a broad PE curriculum, encouraging participation and achievement.
Plan, prepare, and assess lessons in line with curriculum requirements.
Support extracurricular sports clubs, fixtures, and school sporting events.
Create a positive and safe learning environment for all students.
Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback and support where needed.

The Ideal Candidate

Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
Has experience teaching PE within a secondary school setting.
Demonstrates excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
Is passionate about promoting physical education and healthy lifestyles.
Can motivate and engage students of varying abilities.
Has a current enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or is willing to obtain one.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
