Our client in Market Weighton supporting 13 Adults living in their own homes who have Learning Disabilities and Autism.
The service has three vehicles at the location, and requires all Female Learning Disabilities Support workers to hold an UK driving licence, who can drive manual vehicles.
Female Learning Disabilities Support worker will be providing basic personal care, assist residents to cook, clean their room, ensure they have taken their medication, dressing, and make sure they attend their appointments to hospital, GP’s, dentist etc.
The most important thing our service users like doing is activities in their home e.g. board games, X-Box, watch movies, arts & crafts, painting etc. They also love going out into the community doing activities such as dancing, planning music events, fancy dress parties, swimming, creative activities or shopping.
This is a very varied position, where no two days are the same.
Ideal applicant for this position will be a Female Support Worker or Female Care Assistant or someone who wants to train to be a Female Support Worker as full training will be provided. But must hold an UK driving Licence.
