Silverberry Care is looking for a compassionate Female Care Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team. You will support adults and children to remain safe, independent and connected to their communities while receiving personalised care in their own homes.

This is a driving role. You will need to travel between clients across Coventry and the surrounding areas. Applicants must hold a full valid driving licence and have regular access to a reliable vehicle for work.
Unfortunately, we cannot consider non-drivers for this particular vacancy.
Applicants must already have the right to work in the UK. We are unable to provide visa sponsorship, issue a Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS), or support a CoS switch.
What you will be doing
Your responsibilities will be based on each person’s individual care plan and may include:
Supporting with washing, dressing, continence care and other personal care
Supporting with medication
Preparing meals and supporting people to eat and drink
Providing companionship and emotional support
Supporting people to attend appointments and access their community
Helping with shopping and light household tasks
Promoting independence, dignity, choice and wellbeing
Completing accurate care records
Reporting concerns or changes in a person’s needs
What we are looking for
Previous care experience is welcomed, but it is not essential if you have the right values and attitude. We are looking for someone who is:
Caring, patient and respectful
Reliable and committed to the people they support
Able to communicate clearly and build positive relationships
Confident working independently in people’s homes
Willing to work flexibly, including some evenings and weekends
Able to follow care plans and safe working practices
Committed to protecting people’s dignity, privacy and independence
Essential requirements
Female
Full valid driving licence
Regular access to a reliable vehicle for work
Able to travel throughout Coventry and the surrounding areas
Existing right to work in the UK without employer sponsorship
Willing to complete an Enhanced DBS check

The cost of the DBS check is initially payable by the successful applicant and will be refunded following successful completion of the three-month probationary period.
