Description:
Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for a Family Time Worker to join Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council on an initial 3-month temporary contract. This is a full-time role working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday (inc some Saturdays)
Key Responsibilities

Ensure Family Time is promoted and delivered in line with the care plan for the child/young person and their family and in a manner that ensure the child’s ongoing safety and that their welfare is paramount.
*
Responsible for undertaking the supervision of Family Time including compiling of observations, undertaking assessments and reports around Family Time in line with the Family Time plan.

Responsible for emotional and practical support to children, parents, and their families during Family Time
*
Transport children, or on occasion adults, to and from Family Time venues when necessary, ensuring appropriate seat belts are used and that risk assessments have been completed.
*
Work closely with the child/children’s Social Worker and other relevant professionals to ensure effective communication of information and enable children/parents to be as fully involved as possible in the planning and review of Family Time arrangements.
*
Contribute to the development of written plans under the direction of a qualified social worker or manager.
Essential Requirements

Experience working as a family timeworker
*
Enhanced DBS
*
Full UK driving licence + car
*
Level 3 in relevant qualification
