Description:
Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for a Family Support Worker to join Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council on an initial 3-month temporary contract. This is a full-time role working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Key Responsibilities

Ensure Family Time is promoted and delivered in line with the care plan for the child/young person and their family and in a manner that ensure the child’s ongoing safety and that their welfare is paramount.
*
Responsible for planning and enabling final farewell family time between children and their birth families.
*
Work closely with the child/children’s Social Worker and other relevant professionals to ensure effective communication of information and enable children/parents to be as fully involved as possible in the planning and review of Family Time arrangements.
*
To report immediately any signs of neglect, injury, or other causes of concerns for a children welfare or safety to the Team Leader/Co-ordinator or Head of Service
*
Contribute to the development of written plans under the direction of a qualified social worker or manager.
Essential Requirements
*
Applicants must be able to drive, have a driving licence and be a car owner
*
Level 3 or good experience working in the child and family setting
