Due to increased demand, an opportunity has arisen for an experienced Early Help Support Worker to join a community-focused service delivering early intervention and practical support to families across a Birmingham district. This organisation is committed to helping families access the right support at the right time and works closely with local authorities, voluntary sector partners and community organisations to achieve positive outcomes.

Your new role

You will complete Early Help Assessments, undertake home visits, provide practical and emotional support, and signpost families to appropriate services. The role requires strong partnership working with children's services, schools, health professionals and voluntary sector organisations to ensure families receive timely and effective support. You will maintain accurate case records, contribute to service evaluations, and produce case studies evidencing the positive impact of interventions.

This is a hybrid position offering flexibility between home working, community-based work and office attendance.

Competitive hourly rate of £19 per hour

Hybrid working arrangements
Opportunity to make a genuine difference to vulnerable children and families
Valuable experience working within a highly respected community-based service
Dedicated support from your Hays consultant throughout your assignment
