Family Solicitor

Description:

My client is searching for a Family Solicitor to join their Liverpool, Merseyside offices.

Person Specification and requirements

• Experience in advising on a variety of Family matters
• Strong time-management and ability to manage own caseload
• Advocacy experience is desirable but not essential
• Knowledge and experience of Legal Aid
• Genuine passion for Family law
• Own referral source would be a distinct advantage
• Panel membership or working towards would be a distinct advantage
• Knowledge and experience of Lexcel Compliance is desirable

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for earning fees by actively working towards individual and departmental targets and objectives as set by HOD
• Responsible for the effective management and advisory service of all aspects of allocated
• Family and Children Law cases, including but not limited to:

- Private and Public matters
- Domestic Abuse
- Non-molestation

• CCMS applications, amendments and POAs
• Arrange and attend meetings with clients ensuring a professional service and excellent client care standards
• Attend court hearings, prison visits, police stations and any other off-site requirements
• Provide advocacy
• Legal Aid work
