What you'll be doing:
As a Factory Team Leader, you'll play an important role in leading and supporting your team throughout the shift, ensuring production targets, quality standards and company procedures are consistently met.
You'll be responsible for supporting the day-to-day running of the team, organising workloads and making sure production runs safely and efficiently while maintaining high standards of Food Safety, Health & Safety and quality.
You'll lead by example, support and motivate your team, and work closely with management and other departments to ensure the shift runs smoothly.
Your responsibilities will include:

Leading and supporting the team throughout the shift.
Organising the team's workload and allocating tasks to ensure all areas are completed within the required timescales.
Ensuring production targets and quality standards are achieved.
Supporting, motivating and providing guidance to colleagues throughout the shift.
Monitoring performance and maintaining high standards across the team.
Ensuring production processes are followed correctly and consistently.
Making sure the correct equipment and PPE are used in line with site procedures.
Ensuring all documentation and records are completed accurately and on time.
Following and promoting Health & Safety, Food Safety, HACCP and GMP standards at all times.
Identifying and reporting any production, equipment, safety or quality concerns promptly.
Supporting the training and development of new and existing colleagues.
Making sure colleagues understand their responsibilities and follow the correct procedures.
Supporting investigations into any production or quality issues and helping to put improvements in place.
Communicating clearly with management, Production and other departments regarding progress, issues and priorities.
Helping to manage absence, performance and day-to-day colleague concerns with support from management where required.
Ensuring the team works safely and efficiently while achieving the required targets and standards.
Maintaining excellent housekeeping standards throughout the workplace.
Leading by example and creating a positive, supportive and professional working environment within the team.What we're looking for:
We're looking for someone who is confident leading and supporting a team within a fast-paced environment.
Previous experience within production, food manufacturing or a similar environment would be advantageous, particularly if you have previous Team Leader, Line Leader or supervisory experience.
We're looking for someone who:

Has previous experience leading, supervising or supporting a team.
Has a good understanding of production standards within a manufacturing environment.
Understands the importance of Food Safety, Health & Safety and quality procedures.
Is confident organising workloads and prioritising tasks.
Can motivate and support colleagues to achieve high standards.
Has good communication skills and is comfortable speaking with colleagues and managers.
Is confident dealing with day-to-day issues and escalating concerns when required.
Has good attention to detail and can identify when standards have not been achieved.
Is comfortable completing and checking paperwork and records.
Can work well under pressure and manage changing priorities.
Is reliable, organised and able to take responsibility for the team during the shift.
Is comfortable working in a physically demanding environment and being on their feet throughout the shift.
