Factory Operative – Temp to Perm
Location: Royston area
Pay: £13.00 – £14.00 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 5:00pm
Job Type: Full-time, Temp to Perm
Our client is currently looking for an experienced Factory Operative to join their busy and established manufacturing team in the Royston area.
This is a genuine temp-to-perm opportunity for someone who is reliable, hardworking and looking for a long-term position with the opportunity to become permanent.
Due to the location of our client, you must have your own transport.
Duties will include:
Operating production machinery and equipment
Working within a busy factory/production environment
Following production schedules and meeting daily targets
Carrying out quality checks on products
Completing production and quality paperwork
Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
Following health & safety, hygiene and quality procedures
Reporting machinery faults or production issues
Supporting other members of the production team when required
The ideal candidate:
Previous factory, manufacturing or production experience
Own transport is essential due to location
Reliable and punctual
Good attention to detail
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Able to work well as part of a team
Flexible and willing to support different areas of production
FLT licence desirable but not essential
Hours & Pay
Monday to Friday
7:30am – 5:00pm
£13.00 – £14.00 per hour
Overtime available at an enhanced rate.
Weekly pay
