Carbon 60 is looking to recruit a Facilities Operative for its leading Facilities Management client based in Eynsham
Working hours are 6.00am to 2.00pm Monday to Friday with overtime readily available
Pay rate is £11.44ph PAYE
Responsibilities
● Collection and processing of all site generated waste to meet the demands of the production areas as directed
● Process all site generated waste in accordance with local operating procedures
● Undertake waste & cleaning duties
● Ensure that checklists and compliance documentation is completed accurately
● Aptitude to safely operate waste machinery
● Ensure regular checks of the machinery and equipment used are carried out during the working day
● Comply with all Health & Safety policies
● Attend and participate in training sessions as required for the role
● To liaise with other Waste & Clean Team members on a daily basis
● Ability to communicate effectively at all levels including Client representatives
● Promote best practice of all tasks undertaken and completed
● From time to time it may be necessary to carry out other duties not specifically described in this job description
The experience you will need
Essential:
● Experience and knowledge of waste and facilities management
● Ability to work on own initiative and to act independently and/or as part of a team offering a high level of flexibility and a good work ethic in a busy manufacturing environment
● Educated to GCSE level for literacy and numeracy
