We are currently looking for a Facilities Officer. You will be working in Sheffield (S1)
Monday - Friday
08:00am - 16:00pm
Temp Contract - Ongoing
Pay rate - £17.18ph paye
Job Purpose
As a Facilities Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring council buildings are maintained to a high standard, supporting building users, managing service delivery, and coordinating facilities-related activities that contribute to excellent customer experiences.
Main Duties
* Monitoring and maintaining high standards of building cleanliness, safety, and presentation.
* Supporting the management of contracted services, including cleaning, security, waste management, and grounds maintenance.
* Undertaking building inspections and reporting defects or maintenance issues.
* Assisting with health and safety compliance, including audits, risk assessments, and statutory checks.
* Responding to customer enquiries and resolving facilities-related issues.
* Supporting office moves, events, and changes to building layouts.
