Facilities Manager (Temporary Contract)
Location: Doncaster, South Yorkshire
Contract: Temporary (2 Months)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 4:30pm
Rate: Up to £25 per hour (PAYE)
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Facilities Manager to join a leading facilities management provider on a temporary two-month contract. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive facilities professional with a strong background in Hard FM, compliance, and contractor management.
The Role:
As Facilities Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day delivery of facilities services, ensuring operational excellence, compliance, and a high standard of customer service across a busy site.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the day-to-day relationship with site teams and key stakeholders.
* Ensure work orders are in place before maintenance activities commence.
* Attend regular operational meetings and provide updates on site performance.
* Coordinate additional works, including obtaining quotations and arranging approved subcontractor works.
* Identify opportunities for service improvements and communicate these to the Contract Manager.
* Monitor contractor performance and ensure service delivery meets agreed standards.
* Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance documentation is audit-ready.
* Ensure all QHSE procedures are followed, including PPE compliance and dynamic risk assessments.
* Complete monthly compliance checks and ensure all statutory documentation is up to date.
About You:
We are looking for someone who has:
* Previous experience in a Facilities Manager or similar FM leadership role.
* A strong understanding of Hard Facilities Management and contractor management.
* Good knowledge of health & safety and compliance requirements.
* Excellent organisational and communication skills.
* The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
* Experience working within a customer-focused facilities management environment.
