Facilities & Site Manager

West Midlands

Our client is looking for a Facilities & Site Managerto lead & provide comprehensive infrastructure, property management and ground maintenance support for all areas.

Responsibilities for Facilities & Site Manager Role:

Deliver the annual facilities plan to ensure high-quality grounds maintenance & meet environmental requirements

Lead & support the Strategy & Sustainability Department

Develop & oversee a self-sufficient maintenance system for grounds, coordinating with contractors

Manage relationships with clients, ensuring they meet their obligations &resolve any issues quickly

Oversee all facilities management services, including cleaning & general maintenance, through subcontractors

Handle all construction projects related to the site

Collaborate with Technical Project Managers to ensure new infrastructure projects consider existing or future plans

Conduct daily site walkarounds to identify & address health, safety & security

Chair monthly meetings to discuss, resolve issues & review any expansion plans

Work with the Procurement team to specify site management needs

Work with the Finance team to manage the operational expenditure budget & ensure contractors provide quality service & value for money

Ensure regular maintenance & timely repairs of shunting locomotives

Engage site service companies & select suitable contractors for property maintenance & emergency issues

Maintain links with local council & planning contacts, informing them of any site development work

Manage the track maintenance contractor to ensure safe rail operations & supervise the Office Manager

Qualifications required for Facilities & Site Manager Role

HNC/HND in an engineering, supply chain or related discipline

Facilities Management qualifications

A project management qualification would be advantageous
