Profile – Facilities Coordinator

Job Role – Facilities Coordinator

To provide day to day management of hard and soft facilities contracts and contractors and develop & execute facilities-based projects as designated by the Facilities Manager. To support the Facilities Manager in the procurement and delivery of all the services, contracts and projects required by the site.

Duties – Facilities Coordinator

• Arranging contractor callouts.
• Raising quotes from contractors and suppliers.
• Liaising with Admin on Purchase Order creation/sign off.
• To act as the day-to-day point of contact for specialist service providers, contractors
• To always maintain safe working practices and environments for personnel, contractors, and visitors.
• Preparation of RAMs & Qualifications prior to contractor works.
• Deputise for FM during periods of annual leave, sickness etc.
• To review and action facilities work orders (MOP’s) and be proactive in obtaining quotes, raising orders, and delivering solutions to site.
• Site inductions – new contractors, service providers.
• Reception cover – 1 lunchtime per week, holiday cover for all days.
• Assisting in meeting room and site ‘set up’ for visitors, event, and functions.
• Member of the site emergency response team ERT.
• Completing & Responsible for Weekly and Monthly Compliance Checks
• Monthly Meter Readings.
• Site walk round and Safety checks.
• Ad hoc minor maintenance work, including but not limited to – painting, plumbing, drainage, general repairs & ‘make safe’.

Experience/Qualifications – Facilities Coordinator

• Working understanding of Hard and Soft Services
• Working understanding (or above) of Electrics, Plumbing, Heating, HVAC, and air con systems
• An understanding of Permits to work.
• A can-do attitude, and a willing to get stuck in.

Candidates who are currently a Facilities Coordinator, Facilities Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, Facilities Manager, Building Coordinator, Maintenance Coordinator, Site Coordinator, Facilities Administrator, Workplace Coordinator and Facility Service Coordinator could be suitable for this position.
