Description:
Due to continued investment and growth, a globally renown and market-leading engineering organisation are looking to hire a Facilities Coordinator to join their team on a permanent basis at their site in Kent.
The primary focus of the role is to ensure the efficient operation of all site facilities and the safety of employees and visitors.
Key aspects of the role include:
* Supervise and coordinate facilities maintenance activities to ensure the proper and efficient function of all facilities and systems
* Manage facilities across multiple sites and environments (factory, warehouse and offices)
* Drive a culture of EHS across the whole company
* Manage external contractors and third parties for specialised maintenance tasks.
* Schedule and oversee routine activities, including the inspection and repair of equipment and infrastructure.
* Implement safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all employees and site visitors.
To be considered you will need to have proven experience in a facilities role with a good knowledge of building systems, HVAC and electrical systems/alarms. Previous experience managing external contractors is also required. A strong understanding of safety and security protocols and a recognised health and safety qualification (IOSH/NEBOSH) is highly desirable.
